Tzatziki Dressing



I have enjoyed Skinnytaste's Skinny Tzatziki for a while, with carrots or even on my salad.  I wanted to create something similar, but with a little more flavor, and more like a dressing.  It is SO low calorie (and so is Skinny Tzatziki) that I ran my numbers twice.  What?!  Okay, I have converted - Greek Yogurt salad dressing once a week (every night) for the rest of my life.  Haha, just kidding... maybe...

Yields roughly 10 servings at 2 tablespoons each

Nutrition Information:  11 calories, 2g carbs, 0g fat, 1g protein, 0mg Cholesterol, 5mg Sodium, 1g sugar, 0g fiber


Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Large Cucumber with peel
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 4 tablespoons Chives
  • 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
  • 1/8 Jalapeno pepper
  • ½ cup Fage Total 0% - Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Pepper to Taste
  • Garlic Salt to taste (about ¼ teaspoon)
  • ½ teaspoon dill



Directions:

  1. In a food processor, cucumber, garlic, chives, dill, jalapeno, lime/lemon juice, and spices.
  2. Add Greek yogurt and mix until combined.
  3. Enjoy with carrot sticks or on a salad.
